CookieTrail handles the browser sessions and regional routing, tests first load, acceptance, and rejection, and records the cookies, tracker requests, and screenshots along the way.
Use the saved evidence and fix guidance with your developer or coding agent, then rerun against the deployed change.

Site and audit limits are shared across the workspaces included in a subscription. One audit = one URL × one visitor location, covering all three consent paths.

Questions, answered
How the allowances work.
What counts as one audit?+
One audit checks one URL from one visitor location in fresh browser sessions: before making a choice, after accepting, and after rejecting. Those three paths count together as one audit. Checking the same URL from three locations uses three audits. A manual retest or fix-verification run uses another audit.
How does the Free welcome pack work?+
Free includes two manual audits every month. At signup, you also get five additional welcome audits, once per account. Use them to explore a report, investigate a finding, and verify a change. Creating another workspace does not grant another welcome pack.
Can I buy extra audits without subscribing?+
Yes, when audit packs launch. Five additional audits will cost $20 as a one-time purchase. You keep your existing plan's site, location, scheduling, and access limits. A pack adds audit capacity; it does not upgrade your plan or start a subscription.
Do purchased audits expire?+
Purchased audit credits do not expire. Use your monthly allowance first, then welcome credits, then purchased credits. Unused monthly allowances reset each month. The one-time welcome credits carry forward until used.
How often should I schedule checks?+
Start monthly to check consistency, or every two weeks for a site that changes more often. Run a manual audit after a launch, redesign, tag change, or consent-platform update. Scheduled and manual audits use the same allowance. Each additional visitor location uses another audit.
What happens when my allowance runs out?+
You can keep reading saved reports and working through findings. Buy a pack to run more audits, or wait for your monthly allowance to reset. Scheduled audits pause when capacity runs out, with a notice. Automatic top-ups will require you to opt in and set a spending cap.
Are the prices per workspace or per team member?+
The launch subscriptions cover the sites, workspaces, and team members shown above under one subscription. Audit capacity is shared across those workspaces. Client viewers do not consume team seats and can only access the client reports shared with them.
Can I purchase these plans today?+
You can start using CookieTrail during early access today. These are our launch prices and allowances. Pro, Agency, and audit packs are coming soon; checkout is not open for these offers yet. During early access, your Usage screen shows your current allowance.
Are tax and failed attempts included?+
Prices are in US dollars, before applicable tax. Failed infrastructure attempts do not use customer audit credits. A report with incomplete consent coverage can still contain useful evidence; the report makes its coverage clear.
