Plan, payments, and billing

Manage a workspace subscription when checkout is available, with clear owner permissions.

Check the plan for this workspace

Billing shows the active workspace’s current plan, allowances, and available billing actions. Plans apply to a workspace rather than your whole account. Only its owner can start checkout, register upgrade interest, or open its Stripe billing portal.

The Free plan does not require a subscription. If paid checkout is unavailable, an owner can register that workspace’s interest in more capacity. This saves an interest request; it does not charge a card, start a subscription, or promise an email response.

Upgrade when checkout is available

  1. Confirm the workspace name in Billing.
  2. Review the price, currency, billing interval, and allowances displayed for the available Pro offer.
  3. Continue to Stripe checkout as workspace owner and complete its payment steps.
  4. Return to CookieTrail and wait for payment confirmation. Your plan changes after the verified subscription is received, rather than from the return URL alone.

Use the Stripe billing portal from Billing to manage supported payment details, invoices, and subscription actions. The portal is the source for your contract’s invoice amounts, including any subscription-specific adjustments. If checkout or portal access is temporarily unavailable, your current plan and saved history remain visible.

Understand cancellation and plan changes

An active or trialing supported Pro subscription grants Pro. Cancellation scheduled for the end of its period keeps Pro while the subscription remains active; Billing shows the scheduled end. A canceled or unsupported subscription state, including past due, can return the workspace to Free.

A plan change does not erase saved sites or rewrite reports. If your inventory or recent checks exceed the lower allowance, keep reading your evidence, archive sites when useful, and wait for a check slot before starting more work. Review any daily schedules when Pro ends.
